What this viewer can't do

Why won't a reel play here?
The account may be private, the reel may be deleted or age-restricted, or the creator turned off embedding. Some reels only play on Instagram itself.
Can I scroll through more reels like in the app?
No. The viewer shows one reel at a time from its link. There's no reels feed.
Does the creator know I watched their reel?
Instagram doesn't show creators a list of who watched their reels, only totals like view counts.
Can I save the reel?
